Cleaning prices for Greenhithe and North Kent

Regular home cleaning is £19 an hour and office cleaning starts at £18. End of tenancy runs from £130 to £370 depending on size, and every other ladder is on this page with the arithmetic worked out. Two things aren't on a ladder here, regular office contracts and anything unusual, and both are quoted from the form.

What does a cleaner cost in Greenhithe?

Regular domestic cleaning is £19 an hour with a two hour minimum, so the shortest visit is £38 and three hours comes to £57. One off deep cleans run £110 to £320 by property size. End of tenancy runs £130 to £370. Ovens are £55 to £95, and carpets are £30 a room.

How much is a deep clean or an end of tenancy clean?

Both are priced by the size of the property, so the number doesn't move if the job runs long. A deep clean starts at £110 for a studio and reaches £320 for a five bedroom. An end of tenancy clean starts at £130 for a studio and reaches £370 for a five bedroom. The table sets the two side by side.

2 bedrooms£175£200
3 bedrooms£210£250
4 bedrooms£260£310
5 bedrooms£320£370

An end of tenancy clean costs more than a deep clean of the same property because it is done to an inspection standard on an empty home, inside cupboards and appliances included. Empty means empty of your belongings, so a furnished let is fine.

What do ovens, carpets and sofas cost?

Each is priced per item or per room. A single oven is £55, a double is £75 and a range cooker is £95, and the oven is already inside the end of tenancy price. Carpets are £30 a room, dropping to £25 a room from the third room. A three seat sofa is £55, and an armchair or a mattress is £25. Any carpet or upholstery visit has a £60 minimum.

Any carpet or upholstery visit under £60 is charged at the £60 minimum, so an armchair on its own still comes to £60. Two rooms of carpet at £30 reach the minimum exactly, and pairing a chair with a sofa or a room of carpet gets you more for the same money.

What about builders dust, offices and short lets?

After builders cleaning starts at £150 for a one bedroom flat, and larger jobs are priced by the visit at £22 per cleaner per hour. Office cleaning starts at £18 per cleaner per hour, with regular contracts quoted. Airbnb changeovers start at £50 a turnover on a one bedroom, and a linen wash is £25 on top.

What would my clean actually cost?

Here are seven real sums, using the ladders above and nothing else. Hourly work multiplies the rate by the hours. Fixed price work reads straight off the size ladder, and add-ons go on at the published figure. If your job isn't on the list, the arithmetic works the same way and you can do it yourself before you contact us.

  1. A three bedroom house cleaned fortnightly, three hours a visit: 3 x £19 = £57 a visit.
  2. The shortest visit we run, the two hour minimum: 2 x £19 = £38.
  3. A two bedroom deep clean with the inside of the windows: £175 + £30 = £205.
  4. A three bedroom deep clean with the fridge and the freezer: £210 + £15 + £15 = £240.
  5. Two rooms of carpet: 2 x £30 = £60, which is exactly the minimum visit.
  6. Four rooms of carpet at the three room rate: 4 x £25 = £100.
  7. A one bedroom Airbnb turnover with the linen washed: £50 + £25 = £75.

What is always included in the price?

Five things come with every job. Products and equipment, travel, the same price in every town we cover, a written checklist agreed before we start, and the 48-hour re-clean guarantee measured against that checklist. None of it is an upgrade and none of it is quoted separately, because it's all simply part of the job.

Equipment and products sit inside every price on this page.
  • Cleaning products and equipment, on every service and every price.
  • Travel to you. There is no call-out fee anywhere we cover.
  • The same price in Greenhithe, Stone, Swanscombe, Ebbsfleet, Dartford, Northfleet and Gravesend.
  • A written room-by-room checklist, agreed before we start.
  • The 48-hour re-clean guarantee on everything on that checklist.

What changes a quote?

A quote moves on five things, and the form asks you about each one: size, condition, how often you'd like us, which extras you want, and access. A from-price on this site always names its variable, so you can see which of these is doing the work in the number you're reading.

Size
One off jobs are priced by bedrooms, so a three bedroom deep clean is £210 and a five bedroom is £320. Tell us the real number of rooms and the figure will hold.
Condition
Fixed prices don't move with condition. An end of tenancy clean and a deep clean are set by the number of bedrooms, so a tired flat and a tidy one of the same size pay the same for the same checklist. When you're paying for time, condition shows up in the bill. An hourly domestic clean, an office contract or an after builders job priced by the hour takes as long as it takes, and a flat left empty for a month takes longer than one cleaned last week. Tell us what state the place is in and the estimate comes back closer.
Frequency
Regular visits are hourly at £19. A one off on the same property is usually a deep clean, priced by size, because the first clean is always the heavy one.
Extras
Windows inside at £30 on a home or deep clean, fridge at £15, freezer at £15, ironing at £15 an hour. Each one goes on the quote and none of them is assumed. Inside windows are already in the end of tenancy price.
Access
Parking, stairs, and whether anyone will be in. None of these carries a surcharge. They change how long a job takes, which only matters on hourly work.

How do these prices compare with the local market?

Our £19 an hour sits inside the published local band. Bark lists Greenhithe cleaning at £17 to £23 an hour for 2026. Checkatrade puts the Dartford average at £150 for a domestic clean and £252 for a deep clean. End of tenancy across London and the South East commonly runs £150 to £490, so our ladder starts below that floor.

End of tenancy clean£130 to £370 by size£150 to £490 across London and the South East, from the MyJobQuote and Checkatrade cost guides

One caution on reading that table. The Checkatrade averages are job averages and the scope behind them isn't stated, so £150 for a domestic clean isn't the same unit as an hourly rate. They sit side by side here because they are the figures published for this area, and they are worth reading as a rough bearing rather than a like for like comparison.

What is not covered by the 48-hour guarantee?

Four things: pre-existing damage, permanent staining, mould, and areas we couldn't get access to. Everything else on the checklist we agreed is covered. Tell us within 48 hours of the clean and we'll come back and re-clean the affected areas free. That 48 hours is how long you have to point it out, and we book the return at the earliest time you can give us access.

What else do people ask about price?

The questions we hear most are whether there's a minimum charge, whether your area changes the price, whether a quote costs anything, what happens when a job overruns, and why we publish any of this at all. Anything we haven't covered, ask on the form and you'll get an answer.

Is there a minimum charge?

There are two minimums, and both are published. Hourly domestic cleaning has a two hour minimum visit, which is £38. Carpet and upholstery work has a £60 minimum visit on any booking, so one room at £30 or one armchair at £25 still comes to £60. Everything else is priced by the job.

Are the prices the same in every area you cover?

Yes. The same prices apply in Greenhithe, Stone, Swanscombe, Ebbsfleet, Dartford, Northfleet and Gravesend. There's no call-out fee and no travel charge, so being at the far end of the area we cover doesn't move your quote. If we can't reach you, we'll tell you straight away.

Does the quote cost anything?

No. Quotes are free, there's nothing to sign, and you pay once the visit is done. Most jobs can be priced from the form because the ladders on this page are published, so you can work out the likely figure before you send anything. If we need to see the property first, we'll tell you before we come.

What happens if the job takes longer than expected?

Deep cleans and end of tenancy cleans are priced by the size of the property, so the figure we agree is the figure you pay even when it runs long. Hourly work is charged for the hours you booked. If you'd like something added that isn't on the checklist, we'll tell you the cost first.

Why publish prices when no local independent we could find does?

Because a price you can only get by handing over your phone number isn't really a price. Publishing the ladder means you can compare us before we ever speak, and it means we have to be straight about what a job costs. It's the main reason this site is built the way it is.

Want the figure for your own property?

Send the form and we'll price it against the ladders on this page. Give us the postcode, the size of the property and what needs doing, and add anything unusual you can think of. We answer every single enquiry. There's no charge for a quote and nothing here commits you to booking.

Tell us the awkward bits while you're there. A boiler cupboard nobody has opened in a year is useful information, and knowing about it now means the figure we send you is the figure you pay.

Tell us about your place and what needs doing, and we'll send you a proper price. Nobody rings you unless you ask us to.

How should we reach you

A phone number or an email address, whichever suits you. One is plenty.

A date, a week, or just how soon you need it. Nothing has to be exact.

Condition, access, anything unusual: parking, stairs, a key safe, a place that's stood empty for a while. The more we know, the closer the price we send back.

Rather read first? The services pages carry the full checklist behind each of these prices.
