One-off top to bottom clean
Deep cleaning in Greenhithe and North Kent
A one-off deep clean is a fixed price by size, from £110 for a studio to £320 for a five bedroom house. It's the reset for a house that has quietly got ahead of you: full descaling, inside empty cupboards, skirting, doors, frames and everything a regular visit never reaches. Products are included, there's no call-out fee, and anything missed is re-cleaned free within 48 hours.
What is included in a deep clean?
Everything a regular visit covers, plus the parts it never gets to. Limescale off taps, screens and tiles, inside empty cupboards, behind and under whatever we can safely move, skirting and doors washed down properly, radiators, light fittings, extractor vents and window tracks. It's one long visit against a published checklist.
Kitchen
Cupboard fronts and empty interiors, splashback and grout, extractor filter, sink and taps fully descaled, behind and beside the appliances we can move, floor washed to the edges.
Bathrooms
Shower screen, tiles and grout descaled back to clear, bath, basin and toilet cleaned inside and behind, chrome polished, extractor vent dusted.
Bedrooms
Empty wardrobe and drawer interiors, tops of units, skirting, picture rails, radiators, light fittings, mattress vacuumed where it's uncovered.
Living spaces
Upholstery vacuumed including under the cushions, shelves emptied and wiped where you ask, TV and glass, cobwebs, vents and radiators.
Doors, walls and edges
Doors, frames, handles, switches, sockets, bannisters, and marks taken off paintwork where they'll lift without damaging it.
Windows and floors
Inside glass, frames, sills and tracks. Hard floors washed by hand at the edges, carpets vacuumed throughout.
Not included as standard: inside the oven, inside the fridge and freezer, machine cleaning of carpets, and exterior windows above ground level. The first three are add-ons with published prices, so you can decide before you book instead of being asked on the day. The last one needs a window specialist with the right access kit.
How much does a deep clean cost?
A fixed price by the size of the property, from £110 for a studio to £320 for a five bedroom. Products and equipment are included, there's no call-out fee, and the price is identical in every town we cover. The condition of the property doesn't change it. If the job takes us longer than we planned, that's our problem.

What is the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
A regular clean maintains a standard. A deep clean sets one. Regular visits work the surfaces you use and the floors you walk on, at £19 an hour. A deep clean goes at the things that only get worse quietly, limescale, cupboard interiors, skirting, extractor filters, and it's priced as a fixed job because it's finished when it's finished.

How long does a deep clean take?
We plan a single day with one cleaner for a one or two bedroom flat, a long day for a three bedroom house, and two cleaners for four or five bedrooms. Because the price is fixed by size, the clock is our risk rather than yours. We'd sooner stay an extra hour than leave the bathroom grout half done.
Should I deep clean before moving in?
It's the best day to do it. An empty property cleans faster, nothing has to be worked around, and you're not living with somebody else's leftovers in the cupboards on night one. Book it for the day you get the keys and before the removal van. Moving out instead? You want an end of tenancy clean.
Do I need a deep clean before starting regular visits?
Only if the house is behind. When nobody has cleaned properly for a while, a first regular visit spends its whole two hours failing to catch up and everybody ends the day disappointed. One deep clean sets the line, then fortnightly visits at £19 an hour hold it. If the home is already in decent order, skip it and start regular.
Why are deep cleans here mostly a limescale job?
North Kent sits on chalk, and the local water is hard. Hard water leaves limescale on taps, shower screens and inside kettles and ovens. A shower screen in Greenhithe or Swanscombe clouds over quickly, and once it's thick enough it stops responding to the spray under the sink entirely. It's the clearest difference between a home here that has been deep cleaned and one that hasn't.
So descaling gets its own named block of time on our deep clean checklist. Taps come apart where they're meant to, screens get the right acid and enough dwell time, and the kettle and the shower head get treated too. Then the screen goes clear, the chrome comes back, and the bathroom looks like the one in the estate agent photograph again. That's the bit we do this for. Chalkdown is named after the chalk under this whole stretch of the river, so working with it is the local job.

What does the 48-hour re-clean guarantee not cover?
Four things, printed next to the promise: pre-existing damage, permanent staining, mould, and areas we couldn't get to on the day. A deep clean removes dirt. It doesn't resurface a bath or repaint a wall, and we'll tell you which one you're looking at.
Everything else on the agreed checklist is covered. Tell us within 48 hours and we'll come back and re-clean the affected areas free. You've got 48 hours to tell us, and from there we work to your access rather than to a clock.
You pay after the visit, once the work is done.
Before our first clean, public liability insurance will be in place and every cleaner will have a DBS check. As soon as those certificates exist they'll be published right here, and every written quote includes our insurance certificate and DBS details before you pay anything.
What else do people ask about deep cleans?
How much is a deep clean?
A fixed price by size: one bed 140, two bed 175, three bed 210, four bed 260 and five bed 320. Checkatrade gives an average of £252 for a deep clean in Dartford, so our three bedroom price of £210 sits under the local average with products and equipment already in it.
Is a spring clean the same as a deep clean?
Same job, different month. People search for a spring clean in March and a deep clean when guests are coming or a tenancy is starting. We price both the same way, off the property size, and we work the same checklist either way.
Do you move furniture during a deep clean?
We move what two people can move safely, so dining chairs, a coffee table, a light armchair. Wardrobes, beds, sofas and appliances stay put, because that's how floors get scratched and backs get hurt. Move anything you'd like cleaned behind before we arrive and we'll do it.
Do you clean inside the oven on a deep clean?
Not as standard. Oven cleaning is a separate job with separate kit, at £55 for a single, £75 for a double and £95 for a range cooker. Add it when you book and we'll do it in the same visit, so you don't have to find another day.
Can a deep clean be done in one visit?
Almost always. A one or two bedroom flat is a single day for one cleaner. A four or five bedroom house is a day with two cleaners on it. If a property is in a state where one day genuinely won't do it, we'll say so when you send the details, well before anyone starts.
